Founder with over 40 years of experience in the industry, John has a wealth of knowledge to share with his clients. Educated in Brisbane at the University of Queensland, John commenced work for what is now KPMG, then Ermst & Young, two of the big four accounting firms in Australia. John then left to learn small to medium business accounting and taxation in a central Queensland town. In 1981, he purchased a practice in Gladstone.

John built this practice to the largest in Gladstone and after 10 years sold to his fellow partners and moved to the Gold Coast. John commenced practice on the Gold Coast in 1989 and had built the practice to have a staff of at times up to 46 before selling the practice to his fellow directors in 2015.

John could be said to have small business experience with large firm ethics and professionalism. John started Second Look Accounting and Taxation Pty Ltd to continue his passion in the field and to share his expertise in business structuring to his clients.
